Technological Micropipettes

The word Technology means a lot in today’s world. Micropipette is a scientific tool which is used for experiment purpose. Micropipettes are used to withdraw small volumes of liquid or solution in a micro viewer range. There are various types of pipettes available in the market for different purposes based on the requirement of the customers or clients like: volumetric, Pasteur, graduated, mohr, pipette bulb etc.

The instrument is designed with a container which allows us to measure the quantity of the solution to be carried into the container which is also known as volume display.

We also have the adjustment knob or push button on the top of the instrument which allows us to store the volume with the help of knob. We also have the fine-volume adjustment knob to change the volume in the container. By rotating the knob you can control the volume or view how much quantity has been installed with the help of the volume display.

On the back of the instrument we have a small button called tip ejector button which is designed till the end of the instrument. It is used to remove the tip attached to the instrument. When we press the tip ejector from top; it will move down and removes the tip.

It is very important to know how to put the tip without damaging the pipette. We have to press the instrument on top of the tip and twist. Make sure you do not jam it in.

We have two pressing tops designed on the knob, which means when you install the solution, you will press only till first stop and when you withdraw the solution you go to the first top and then second top. It is very important to keep all the precautionary measures and it has to be used in highly hygienic environment.
